Rincon Valley Little League

Rincon Valley Little League established in 1960 is a non profit organization providing baseball facilities for kids in the Rincon Valley area of Santa Rosa California. The league is ran by a 26 person volunteer board and is funded completely through the boards fundraising efforts.
Rincon Valley Little League has provided over 50 years of baseball facilities for kids ages 4 to 16. In what we call our own Field of Dreams, this facility has had many generations of families pass through its gates.
On October 9th 2017, Rincon Valley Little League was hit with 40+ mph winds which in turn caused a wild fire that nearly engulfed the entire city of Santa Rosa. The fire raced down the hills of Rincon Valley and surrounded the entire park and corresponding neighbors. Thankfully our beautiful fields were not impacted by this, but all our equipment and maintenance equipment for the league was burned in the fire.
The insurance provided by Little League International unfortunately does not cover Wind or Fire damage which we experienced both that morning. Many of the items lost in the fire are essential for the league to operate, things such as mowers, golf carts, utility carts, and even protection screens for batting cages.
With winter quickly approaching we have fields to maintain and prepare for the winter rain months. Soon our fields will be non accessible due to the rainy season and surrounding creeks.
